Land Acknowledgement: Felt Sense Psychotherapy respectfully acknowledges that our practice is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation. We honour the enduring presence, knowledge, and resilience of the Algonquin people, as well as all First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities who call this land home.As a practice grounded in care, connection, and healing, we recognize that land acknowledgements alone are not enough. Words must be accompanied by meaningful action, reflection, and accountability. We are committed to ongoing learning about the histories and ongoing impacts of colonization, to challenging systemic inequities, and to supporting Indigenous voices, sovereignty, and self-determination.We hold this acknowledgement as a starting point—an invitation to remain attentive to the land we practice on, the relationships we are part of, and the responsibilities we carry in contributing to more just and equitable systems of care.
