Annie Sousa is Accepting New Clients

All of our therapists provide care that is relational, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and culturally responsive. We are committed to creating a safe, collaborative space where you feel seen, respected, and supported.

Annie Sousa is a bilingual Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed therapy in English and Spanish. She specializes in supporting ADHD, autistic, AuDHD, and twice-exceptional (2e) adults, as well as individuals navigating complex trauma (CPTSD), PTSD, childhood and developmental trauma, emotional and narcissistic abuse, anxiety, burnout, shame, perfectionism, and people-pleasing.

As a late-identified AuDHDer, mother of two twice-exceptional AuDHD children, and domestic violence survivor, Annie brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She understands the exhaustion of masking, feeling misunderstood, and trying to fit into a world that wasn’t designed for you.

Annie’s warm, relational approach is grounded in safety, compassion, and acceptance. Drawing from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), experiential approaches, and other evidence-based modalities, she tailors therapy to each person’s unique needs, identity, and experiences. Her goal is to create a space where you feel understood rather than judged, and where you can explore who you are without needing to mask or minimize your experiences.

Annie is also the founder of Unmask Your Mind, an educational platform making neurodiversity-affirming knowledge more accessible (see link below). Annie is passionate about helping people better understand themselves. She believes therapy isn’t about fixing who you are, but about understanding your mind, healing from what you’ve experienced, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself you’ve had to hide to survive. You were never too much or not enough—you deserve to feel safe being yourself.
